Eating in a gentle and compassionate space

It’s really normal for eating to feel overwhelming, isolating, or challenging when choosing to heal your relationship to food.

Whether you’re working through food fear, eating challenges, executive functioning and capacity or just tired of doing it all alone—this space is for you.

GENTLE MEAL SUPPORT ONLINE GROUP

Our Meal Support Online Group offers gentle, structured support in a warm and non-judgmental environment, so you can feel more grounded and less isolated.

Led by an experienced, trauma-informed dietitian, these sessions are designed to meet you exactly where you are.

What to Expect

Each 45-minute group includes:

  • A grounding check-in to settle before the meal

  • Space to eat together—whatever “eating” looks like for you

  • Gentle prompts and co-regulation support

  • Optional post-meal reflection or quiet time

  • No pressure, no expectations, just presence, care and light hearted banter

You’re welcome to have your camera and microphone on or off. Just showing up is enough.

Is this for me?

Meal support may be helpful if:

  • You’re in recovery from an eating disorder or disordered eating

  • Meals feel hard, lonely, or emotionally loaded

  • You want accountability, connection, or a gentle structure

  • You’d like support to eat more regularly or challenge food fears

  • You’re looking for a space where all foods, bodies, and emotions are welcome

You do not need a diagnosis to attend.

This group may not be suitable if:

  • You’re currently in medical crisis or need inpatient treatment

  • You’re seeking higher intensity or more individual meal support (which I can offer you too, please see below)

  • You experience significant distress that would be better supported in individual meal support

INDIVIDUAL MEAL SUPPORT

Whether you’re navigating recovery from an eating disorder, living with a long standing eating disorder or feeling stuck in food rules and overwhelm—individual meal support can offer quiet, non-judgmental company during what can feel like the hardest part of the day.

This is a place to slow down, breathe, and eat in the presence of someone who understands and will not push, shame, or prescribe.

What does individual meal support look like?

Each session is:

  • Flexible: online or in-person

  • Grounded: we may begin with a short check-in or grounding practice

  • Supportive: eat at your own pace, with gentle prompts if helpful

  • Non-directive: no meal plans or expectations—just presence and care

  • Reflection: you’re offered the opportunity to talk, ground or debrief.

There’s no pressure to eat a certain amount, no focus on weight, and no “right” way to do this.  I aim to offer whatever it is you need in the moment.

Individual support may help if…

  • You’re struggling to eat regularly or consistently

  • Meals feel distressing or emotionally overwhelming

  • You’d like to challenge food rules with someone beside you

  • You feel safer with a calm, grounding presence nearby

  • You want a gentler alternative to rigid meal planning

  • You’re not yet ready for group settings—but you know you need support
